In June we were audited for our Quality Management System, ISO 9001, and our Health & Safety Management System, ISO 45001. Our certified Integrated Management System applies to a broad range of operational areas including client focus, adequacy of resources, employee competence and process management.
We first achieved our ISO certifications back in July 2019 and successfully completed annual surveillance audits in 2020 and 2021. This year, our entire Integrated Management System was audited for full certification and we are pleased to share that we passed with flying colours!
Achieving these accreditations is a fantastic achievement in itself. However, the fact we were able to achieve this shortly after moving the business premises to a new location was no easy feat. The team have worked hard to allow for a smooth transition while ensuring clients continue to receive the best service possible.
What are ISO accreditations and what does this mean for our services?
ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system. The standard demonstrates our Company's ability to consistently provide traffic management services that meet client and regulatory requirements, while also demonstrating continuous improvement.
ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety at work. The standard demonstrates our Company's commitment to providing a workplace that is compliant with health and safety legislation.
The auditors assess our Company by going on the client journey from start to finish; assessing whether our processes meet the requirements set out in the ISO standards. Our audit report stated;
"Overall, Premier Traffic Systems displayed a high level of professionalism, training, awareness and commitment to the running of the Quality and Health & Safety Systems to the above-mentioned standards."
We are really proud of the fact that during our ISO journey, we have never had a single non-conformity identified from any audit. This is a testament to the incredible team at Premier; who continually strive to achieve the highest standards of work, giving clients full confidence in our ability to deliver an excellent service.
